Opening reception at the Foundry

On January 10th, the decob in Shanghai opened the event with a great night of fantastic music! We had a special live performance guest Dadongxiang. Our main venue, Foundry is one of the hottest contemporary gallery located in the heart of commercial area called Jingan-district.


In this two-weeks exhibition, the Foundry and Ligare Gallery had teamed up and hosted eco-bag workshops. On January 17th and 18th, Fiber Art instructors, Hidemi Shimura & Sanae Tanabe demonstrated Plant Dying & Tie-dyeing technique. Art collective, PAINTMOB hosted a workshop on basics of acrylic paint original eco bag making.
From kids to adult, everyone involved with the workshops had fantastic afternoons.

special showcase at the Sample Square

From February 14 through 28, the decob in Shanghai relocated to the Sample Square, Shanghai’s latest hot spot for fashion and culture. PAINTMOB returned and hosted workshop on the 28th. We had a great success with this special showcase.
