The Nomadic “decob” 2nd ラウンドがヨーロッパの中心Switzerlandからスタートします！

これまでに世界6都市を巡回し好評を博してきた、アーティストによるオリジナルエコバッグの展覧会『The Nomadic “decob”』がついにヨーロッパに上陸。時計産業の街として世界的に有名な、スイスのLa Chaux-de-Fonds（ラ・ショー＝ド＝フォン）で、9月3日より１ヶ月間に渡って行われる。会期中は、地元アーティストが企画した様々なワークショップやイベントが目白押し。スイス限定のオリジナルバッグの販売なども行われる。

会期：2010年9月3日〜2010年10月2日
会場：la locomotive, Impression, L’Entre-deux, Bibliothèque de l’Ecole d’rts Appliqués

スイス展ではまた、会場である「La Chaux-de-Fonds」とdecobとのコラボレーション・ロゴデザインを募集しています。選ばれたロゴは、イベント告知ポストカードやウェブサイト、ポスターなどに使用されるほか、限定発売されるオリジナルエコバッグにもプリントされるなど、The Nomadic decob in Switzerlandの魅力を発信するために幅広く活用されます。また作成者の名前は公式ウェブサイト、その他の媒体に掲載されます。

応募資格：
個人、グループ、プロ、アマ、年齢性別を問いません。どなたでも応募できます。

注意事項：
１作品は未発表のもの（一人3 点まで応募できます）
２作品の著作権、使用権等の一切はdecob in La Chaux-de-Fonds実行委員会に帰属します。
３応募作品については主催者側で必要な修正を行うことがあります。

Eco Shift Taito-アートを通して考える地球の未来

東京アートシーンの新たなホットスポットとして注目を集める台東区の3 つのギャラリー（Gallery COEXIST、ギャラリー空、MAKII MASARU FINE ARTS)が中心となり、アートによる環境運動を促進する様々なアートプログラムを実施するエコ・アートイベント
「Eco Shift Taito」が2009 年10 月30 日～11 月22 日に開催されます。国内外で活躍するアーティストが参加し世界6 都市を巡回した話題のエコバッグの展覧会『TheNomadic “decob”』がGallery COEXIST にて開催される他、それぞれのギャラリーの持ち味を生かした企画展が開催され、また体験プログラムとして、子どもから大人まで誰もが楽しめるワークショップが会期中に実施される大規模なイベントです。
「Eco Shift Taito」というタイトルは、Change（変革）やStart（出発）ではなく、今あるものをShift（転換、動かす）させて未来を考えていこうというメッセージが込められています。

【募集内容】

「Eco Shift Taito」のロゴデザイン（文字のみ、又は文字とアイコンを組み合わせたも
の）
選ばれたロゴは、イベント告知ポストカードやウェブサイト、ポスターなどに使用される
ほか、限定発売されるオリジナル・エコバッグにもプリントされるなど、イベントの魅力
を発信するために幅広く活用されます。

Marcos Chin

北米で活躍するトップイラストレーターの一人、マルコス・チンは1999年トロント（カナダ）のOntario College of Art and Designを卒業後、The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, New York Times や Sports Illustratedなど数多くの雑誌で作品を発表し、Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Communication Arts や Applied Artsなどでアワードを受賞。中でも地下鉄やビルボード、雑誌やオンライン上にマルコスの作品が採用された『Lavalife』の世界的な広告キャンペーンによってその地位は不動のものに。近年これらの作品がアニメ化され、ロンドンのトラファルガー広場にて公開されるなど現在最も注目されているイラストレーターの一人。

現在ニューヨークにスタジオを構えるマルコスは、School of Visual Arts校にてイラスト科講師を務めると同時に、アメリカやカナダなどでレクチャーや講演会なども行っている。

The final exhibition of the 1st round tour is DUMBO, which is known as New York’s biggest art community in Brooklyn.

The two exhibitions are held simultaneously at both venues; ZAKKA which is known as an art shop and a creative space in New York. OUCHI Gallery, a gallery in a homelike atmosphere introducing the works of Japanese artists. During exhibitions, various workshops that suit to individual venues will be held, so everybody from adult to child can casually be challenged to make their own eco bags enjoyably. A limited numbers of NY memorial eco bags and the original Japanese “Happy Bags” are also sold.

Shanghai 2009!

New York based art magazine, COOL is calling for artists to contribute their original, hand-made eco-bags: Decorated Eco-Bag, a.k.a “decob,” for an exhibition and a product-release project, The Nomadic “decob.”

In midst of the global environmental issues, we believe taking initiative on what we can do locally, around our personal surroundings is the step towards solving the global issue. The “decob” will be shown to international audiences in effort to raise awareness of environmental issues and call to take initiatives.

※Partial income from this project will be donated to environmental organizations.
※All bags are made of Recycled cotton. Fair Wage / Fair Labor

We would like you to participate in this very important exhibit by submitting your designs!
Please follow the directions below carefully:

The hand-made eco-bags will be shown in an exhibition and will be available for sale.
Best of “decob” and other awards will be given to selected eco-bags.
Project will be covered by the art magazine COOL on its paper and online publications.
The exhibition will go on to tour to major locations such as New York and London.

1: All works must be clearly related to the concept of “decob”
2: All bags must be wearable and function as a bag

4: All works must be original and produced solely for the exhibit

5: All submission are free. There is artist’ material cost will only be charged to the artist who accepted the submission as folows:

6: Works not selected for the exhibition will be posted on the organizers website (a non refundable fee for selected artists will cover the cost
7: All original works on display will be for sale. The artists will spilt the sale 50/50 with the organizers

[Deadlines for submission]

Dec 10/08, All artwork must be submitted online by no later then.
Dec 15/08, Artists selected will be contacted and a non refundable administration fee of $20 must be paid at this point.
Dec 22/08,Artists will be received a blank-cotton-bag by then.
Jan 7/09 Deadline for finished work by selected artists. Artists must send a bag to the venue directly by no later then.

近年、世界中で環境問題に注目が集まる中で、上海では2010に「城市让生活更美好」のスローガンのもと万博が開催されます。その上海万博に先駆けて、アートによる環境問題への取り組みを目標に掲げ、オリジナル・エコバッグ「decob」プロジェクト in 上海が開催されます。詳しくはdecobのステイトメントを熟読のうえお申し込みください。

大阪展　ワークショップ開催

大人気企画

オリジナルエコバッグを作ろう！

東京展でも大人気だった特別企画、ターナー色彩株式会社協力によるオリジナル・エコバッグ作りワークショップが大阪でも開催されます。子供から大人まで楽しく簡単に、自分だけのオリジナルエコバッグを作ることができます。もちろん、当日作ったバッグはその場でお持ち帰りできます！

ワークショップ詳細
当日は、ステンシルという技法を使っての実演を行います。
エコバックを顔に見立て、顔のパーツ（目や口、メガネなど）を模したテンプレートを福笑いみたいに並べてステンシルふうに着色します。おもしろい型で各種数パターンずつ用意してありますので、好きな形のプレートを選んで頂けます。またフェルトや毛糸もアクセントに使用する予定です。

ワークショップ実施前にはターナー色彩株式会社による新商品の紹介とプロモーションが行われますのでお楽しみに！
